Vo Quang Phu Duc wins Road to Mount Olympia 2024

After four breath-taking rounds, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grader from Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, excellently won the Road to Mount Olympia 2024 with 220 points.

In the final round of Road to Mount Olympia, on October 13, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a Math major in grade 11 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, won convincingly, winning the laurel wreath and the prize of 50,000 USD.

This is also the third time that students from Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted have won the laurel wreath in the final round of Road to Mount Olympia in the past 24 years.

Previously, Ho Ngoc Han and Ho Dac Thanh Chuong, both alumni of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, won the 9th and the 16th season.

Before entering the finals, Vo Quang Phu Duc shared that he had been passionate about the show Road to Mount Olympia since elementary school. Later, inspired by his “seniors”, the male student decided to join the show.

The other three competitors in the final round were Tran Trung Kien (Le Hong Phong High School, Phu Yen province), Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh (Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, Gia Lai province) and Nguyen Phu (Hanoi National University of Education - High School for the Gifted)./.
