Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thị Doan, former member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former Vice President of Vietnam, and President of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, along with the leadership of the Hà Nam Provincial Fellowship Association in Hanoi, the Standing Committee of the Party, the People's Committee of Chân Lý Commune, and sponsors honored 42 teachers and awarded the Nguyễn Hữu Duyên Scholarship to 143 students with outstanding academic achievements for the 2023-2024 school year.

On September 21st, the People’s Committee of Chân Lý Commune, Lý Nhân District, Hà Nam Province, organized the Nguyễn Hữu Duyên Scholarship Ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year. Attendees included Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thị Doan, former member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and President of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education; Mr. Trần Văn Tú, former Standing Vice Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; Dr. Trần Doãn Tiến, former Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam's electronic newspaper and Vice President of the Hà Nam Provincial Fellowship Association in Hanoi; Mr. Cao Minh Sơn, Vice President of the Hà Nam Provincial Fellowship Association in Hanoi; leaders of the Party Committee and People’s Committee of Chân Lý Commune, along with sponsors.

The Nguyễn Hữu Duyên Scholarship Ceremony for 2023-2024 also recognized teachers who won awards for excellent teaching.

The management board of the Nguyễn Hữu Duyên Scholarship Fund notified schools within the commune, Bắc Lý High School, and village units, while also making announcements via the commune’s public radio system to coordinate and receive applications for scholarships for students and teachers with high academic and teaching achievements.

At a meeting on September 17, 2024, attended by local government representatives and supervised by the Fund’s oversight committee, the fund's management board reviewed and publicly approved the awarding of scholarships to 143 students.

Among these, 56 students were from the primary level, 62 from the lower secondary level, and 25 from the upper secondary level. The recipients included 2 national-level award winners, 74 provincial-level winners, 44 district-level winners, and 23 students from poor, near-poor, or disadvantaged families, as well as students with disabilities.

Additionally, the fund honored and awarded academic achievement scholarships to 42 teachers, including 13 primary school teachers, 23 lower secondary school teachers, and 6 upper secondary school teachers.

 

 

The Nguyễn Hữu Duyên Scholarship Fund was recognized by the Hà Nam Provincial People's Committee in accordance with Decision No. 1596/QĐ-UBND on August 24, 2022, and Decision No. 1863/QĐ-UBND on October 5, 2022.

On December 4, 2022, the fund's founders and the family of revolutionary martyr Nguyễn Hữu Duyên officially launched the fund, aiming to gather resources to regularly award scholarships to underprivileged students, high-achieving students, and outstanding teachers.

The Nguyễn Hữu Duyên Scholarship Fund represents the passion and vision of Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thị Doan, who has mobilized social resources from businesses and individuals to strengthen the fund each year. The scholarship funds are the result of labor, effort, dedication, and care from businesses and individuals committed to supporting education in Chân Lý Commune, a cause that Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thị Doan has helped advance.

The fund is also the heartfelt wish of the family of revolutionary martyr Nguyễn Hữu Duyên and the people of Chân Lý Commune. The fund’s creation and operation aim to promote and develop education in Chân Lý, contributing to the building of a learning society and encouraging the community, especially the youth of Chân Lý, to prioritize education. Education is seen as a pathway to personal development, life success, and becoming valuable citizens for the homeland and the country.

The Children's Health Magazine - suckhoetreem.vn will organize the first "Nurturing Compassion" program in 2025 to call upon benevolent hearts to join hands in helping children in special circumstances celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026. The program will be broadcast live on Channel 2 of Hanoi Radio and Television Station from Studio S1, Military Radio and Television Center (165 Xa Dan Street, Hanoi), from 8:10 PM to 9:30 PM (90 minutes) on January 26, 2026.
