2024 is the 22nd year the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee have held a ceremony in Hanoi to honor outstanding valedictorians graduating from universities and academies based in Hanoi in 2024. It is also the 22nd year the Hanoi Youth Union has been assigned as the permanent unit to organize activities to honor valedictorians.
This year, 100 excellent valedictorians in Hanoi have been inscribed in the traditional Golden Book of the city.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh emphasized that in order to continue and promote the traditional values of studiousness and respect for talented people, over the years, the Hanoi Party Committee and authorities have issued many policies to attract, nurture and make use of talented people, and tap into the internal resources to build the capital to become more modern, civilized, integrated and sustainably developed.
At the ceremony, 100 outstanding valedictorians of Hanoi in 2024 will be preserved as part of the great pride that the capital always has for young talents.
“Please hold your heads high and look towards a bright future, even though various advantages and challenges lie ahead, especially in the context of the 4th industrial revolution taking place in Vietnam and globally. In all circumstances, you should maintain the will and determination that you have acquired after years of training at school. Please use all your heart and youthful enthusiasm to steadily move forward under the flag of the glorious Party, use your sharp mind and intelligence to believe in life, and believe in yourself," the Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union added.
Within the framework of the program, 100 outstanding valedictorians paid their respects at Kinh Thien Palace in the Thang Long Imperial Citadel on October 2./.
