Ninth “Lighting up the Faith for Children” program in Can Tho

On the morning of May 19th, in Hanoi, the First National Congress of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, for the term 2026-2031, held its session in an atmosphere of enthusiasm, solemnity, unity, and innovation, upholding the tradition of solidarity, compassion, and social responsibility as the country enters a new era. Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, attended and delivered an important speech guiding the Congress.

In response to the 2026 Action Month for Children and to celebrate International Children's Day on June 1st, the Children's Health Magazine, in collaboration with relevant agencies, social organizations, businesses, and charitable units, will organize the "Connecting Compassion for Children Day" on May 30-31, 2026, at the Hanoi Children's Palace (Branch 2).

These days, the desks of the organizing committee for the "Connecting with Compassion for Children" program (Children's Health Magazine) are piled high with ever-growing stacks of applications for support.

The Children's Health Magazine - suckhoetreem.vn will organize the first "Nurturing Compassion" program in 2025 to call upon benevolent hearts to join hands in helping children in special circumstances celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026. The program will be broadcast live on Channel 2 of Hanoi Radio and Television Station from Studio S1, Military Radio and Television Center (165 Xa Dan Street, Hanoi), from 8:10 PM to 9:30 PM (90 minutes) on January 26, 2026.

On October 4, Children's Health Magazine organized the program "Sending love - Warm Mid-Autumn Festival 2025" at the Hope Social Support Center for Disabled Children, Chi Linh Ward, Hai Phong City; giving meaningful gifts to 79 disabled children and children in special circumstances, including moon cakes, milk and 1 million VND in cash for each child.

(SKTE) - Children's Health Magazine launched the program For Children's Smiles. The goal is to raise 2 billion VND to help 2,000 disabled children.

Typhoon Bualoi, or Storm No.10, after making landfall early this morning, has caused catastrophic loss of life and extensive damage to homes, infrastructure and agriculture across several provinces and cities in the northern and central regions.

The program, organized by the Vietnam Association for the Support of Children with Disabilities in cooperation with the Association for Persons with Disabilities, Agent Orange Victims, Support for Persons with Disabilities, and Protection of Children's Rights of Quảng Trị Province, was held in Dong Hà City on June 3, 2025, on the occasion of Children’s Action Month.

On April 3, 2025, at a special school - Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School, the Hanoi Association for Relief of Disabled Children solemnly celebrated its 25th anniversary (2000-2025).

That is the result of the 4th completely free screening round this year conducted by Center Two in coordination with the Department of Health and Lao Cai Provincial General Hospital in the locality from March 23-28, 2025, following Dien Bien, Lai Chau and Yen Bai provinces, with support mainly from the Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup Corporation.
