Ninth “Lighting up the Faith for Children” program in Can Tho

The 9th “Lighting up the Faith for Children” program has been held in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho.

The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Can Tho Party Committee; Mr. Ngo Sach Thuc, former Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Disabled Children Relief Association; Ms. Do Thi Hue, Vice President of the Association; Mr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, member of the Standing Board of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Can Tho Fatherland Front Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien, member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Can Tho People’s Committee.

In addition, the program saw the participation of representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, Can Tho and 12 leaders of the Fatherland Front of western provinces; representatives of sponsors, businesses and the participation of 130 disabled children with difficult circumstances in the Mekong Delta City.
