Behind each medical record are not glamorous stories. They are crumpled medical examination papers. They are images of children with arms covered in needle marks from IV drips. They are the helpless sighs of fathers, the dried-up tears of mothers as the cost of surgery and medication for their children far exceeds the means of a poor family. In Vietnam, more than 2.2 million vulnerable and disabled children are still struggling with physical pain and deprivation every day.
