Dr. Ngo Sach Thuc - Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, delivered a speech at the program.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Ngo Sach Thuc, a member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and President of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, emphasized:  For over 10 years, the "Lighting Up Hope for Children" program of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children has instilled hope and love for life in disabled children. This hope and love for life will give them the strength to overcome their limitations. "Nurturing Compassion, Lighting Up Hope for Children" is a highly humane program. Nurturing compassion has profound meaning and brings about lasting core values.

The recent 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam ignited the flame of faith and aspiration: self-confidence, self-reliance, self-strength, and pride, enabling our entire nation to enter a new era.  The compassion sown today will become a beautiful cultural trait of society, contributing to the development of the core values of Vietnamese culture: unity, creativity, honesty, self-confidence, compassion, and loyalty. "Igniting faith is giving opportunities, nurturing compassion is sowing the seeds of the future." When children are sheltered with love, society will progress, be just, and civilized.

Hopefully, today's program will connect and spread: connecting the needs of children with disabilities and people with disabilities to access educational, medical, legal, and psychological services for integration. Spreading love to share and help in the community, to encourage overcoming difficulties and to celebrate those who have overcome challenges and risen above them. By 2026, we aim to provide gifts, scholarships, computers, assistive devices for people with disabilities, surgical support, vocational training, and livelihoods for hundreds of children with disabilities and children in special circumstances.

Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, former Vice President of Vietnam, and Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen The Ky, Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, presented gifts to disabled children.
