First, closely monitor the storm and heavy rain developments, maintain regular contact with competent agencies and local rescue forces to respond promptly in case of incidents.

Second, prepare plans to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and education administrators; be ready to implement online learning and to postpone classes during periods of severe storm and rain.

Third, review, inspect, and reinforce school infrastructure, especially at remote satellite sites in deep-lying areas prone to landslides or severe flooding. Relocate assets, machinery, equipment, furniture, and records to safe places to minimize damage, breakage, or loss.

Fourth, be prepared to receive residents seeking shelter from the storm in schools when safety can be ensured. Urgently repair damages; clean and sanitize schools and classrooms immediately after the storm to ensure safety and hygiene and to prevent disease.

Fifth, continuously update information, compile damage reports, and report to the provincial People’s Committee for remediation, while also reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training for consolidation and submission to the Government./.
