Held on the occasion of International Children's Day on June 1st and in response to the 2026 Action Month for Children with the theme "Happy, Safe, and Confident Children in the Digital Age," the "Connecting Hearts for Children" event, organized by the Children's Health Magazine in collaboration with various agencies and organizations, has become a meeting point for compassionate hearts, spreading a message of love and responsibility towards the future generation of the country.

Throughout the program, tens of thousands of children participated in fun activities and creative experiences, while also receiving free health check-ups and consultations in various specialties such as nutrition, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, dentistry, and mental health.

In particular, the Organizing Committee presented thousands of meaningful gifts and 2,000 free eye examinations for disabled children and children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

One of the highlights of the event was the panel discussion "Multidisciplinary Approach in Diagnosis, Counseling, and Psychotherapy for Children with Developmental Disorders," which provided valuable professional information and contributed to raising community awareness about mental health care for children.

In addition, the thematic session aimed to enhance knowledge and skills in protecting children in the digital age. The session on "Protecting Children in Cyberspace," organized by the Organizing Committee in coordination with the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department (A05) of the Ministry of Public Security, attracted considerable attention from parents and students.

The event also highlighted the active participation of schools, centers for the education of children with disabilities, social welfare facilities, and many universities, academies, and youth organizations in community support activities.

The charity stalls, creative experience zones, and product displays made by children with disabilities created a humane and connecting space, giving them opportunities to interact, showcase their abilities, and confidently integrate into the community.

The festival is also a place where children can freely participate in games.

Dr. Tran Doan Tien, Editor-in-Chief of the Children's Health Magazine and Head of the Organizing Committee of the event, affirmed: “The 2026 Children's Charity Connection Day has concluded after two days filled with a range of emotions and overflowing love for vulnerable children. The great social impact of the event speaks volumes about the love for vulnerable children. It was not only a community event but also a bridge connecting compassionate hearts, arousing the spirit of sharing and social responsibility towards vulnerable children. The results achieved from the Children's Charity Connection Day organized by the Children's Health Magazine have contributed to spreading the theme of 'Happy, Safe, and Steadfast Children in the Digital Age' of the 2026 Action Month for Children. This is the foundation and motivation for the Children's Health Magazine to implement charitable programs, care for, and protect children in the future. Looking ahead, from July 2026, the Magazine will continue its journey of compassion.” Newly launched is the second "Nurturing Compassion" program. The program will honor acts of kindness and will be broadcast live on television and digital platforms during the upcoming Lunar New Year of 2027.

Concluding the 2026 Children's Charity Day, the innocent smiles of children, the outstretched arms of sharing, and the beautiful acts of kindness have left a profound impression. The success of the program further affirms the strength of solidarity and cooperation of the entire society in the journey of caring for, protecting, and building a better future for all children, so that no child is left behind.
