The festival aims to create a space for children to play, experience, and receive comprehensive care; while also spreading the spirit of compassion and connecting the community to support children with disabilities and children in particularly difficult circumstances. This activity also continues the humanitarian journey of the "Nurturing Compassion 2026" program, aiming to protect, care for, and create conditions for the comprehensive development of disadvantaged children.

The event brings together many meaningful activities for children and families, such as free health check-ups and consultations in nutrition, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, dentistry, and mental health; interactive play and experience zones; "zero-cost" booths; community charity activities; exhibitions of products made by children with disabilities; a music gala, art performances, and children's fashion show.
Raising Awareness of Child Protection in the Digital Age
A noteworthy aspect of the event is a workshop on protecting children online, taking place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on May 30, 2026, in collaboration with the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department (A05). This workshop aims to raise awareness and improve safe internet usage skills for parents and children in the digital age. Furthermore, a training program on preventing accidents and injuries to children will be held with the participation of education and child safety experts.
A highlight of the event is the seminar "Multidisciplinary Approach in Diagnosis, Counseling, and Psychological Therapy for Children with Developmental Disorders," held on the morning of May 31, 2026. The seminar will feature experts from the Vietnam Association of Psychotherapy, pediatric and psychiatric hospitals, the network of intervention centers for children with developmental disorders, and specialists in psychotherapy and special education. The program aims to raise community awareness about children's mental health and provide practical information and support solutions for parents.
Beyond just fun activities, caregiving, and gift-giving, the "Connecting with Compassion for Children" event also aims for long-term goals such as accompanying children with disabilities on their journey to social integration, connecting them with career guidance and vocational training, and creating opportunities for skill development, employment, and independence for children in the future. At the same time, the program also contributes to connecting businesses and the consumer community with products made by children with disabilities.
Through this series of meaningful activities, the Organizing Committee hopes to spread the message "For children's smiles," calling on the community to join hands in building a safe, compassionate, and equal living environment for all children.
