Siemens and Pacific Land Partner to Develop Silverlake as Vietnam’s Next-Generation Smart and Sustainable Innovation Industrial Park

On October 20, 2026, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, in collaboration with the Da Nang City Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, Orphans, and Poor Patients, signed an agreement for a cooperation program with Little Heart's Mission Limited (Australia) to care for and nurture orphans at the Bo Mung Orphanage and provide free English training for orphans and disadvantaged youth during the period 2027–2029 (3 years).

On October 8th, the Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) issued a decision imposing administrative penalties on Traphaco Joint Stock Company, headquartered at Yen Ninh Street, Ba Dinh Ward, Hanoi. The production facility mentioned in the decision is Traphaco Hung Yen Co., Ltd., located in Binh Luong Hamlet, Nhu Quynh Commune, Hung Yen Province.

On the morning of October 6th, in response to the 11th "Lighting Up Hope for Children" program - 2026, launched by the Vietnam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Children's Rights in Hung Yen province, in coordination with representatives of T&T Group (the sponsor), organized a meaningful activity to award scholarships totaling 100 million VND to 100 orphaned and disadvantaged students studying in Tong Tran and Nam Dong Hung communes (Hung Yen province).

VinSpeed High-Speed Rail Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (a member of Vingroup) and Siemens Mobility GmbH have announced the signing of a turnkey contract for the Hanoi–Quang Ninh and Ben Thanh–Can Gio high-speed rail lines. The agreement marks a new milestone in VinSpeed’s journey toward developing its high-speed rail capabilities, while progressively building modern, international-standard transport infrastructure in Vietnam.

On August 11th, the Editorial Board held a meeting to prepare for the launch of the Health Today Media channel, scheduled to take place on August 20th, 2026 in Hanoi. The meeting was chaired by the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Tran Doan Tien, and attended by the Editorial Board and relevant departments. Many important aspects related to the program, organization, guest speakers, content production, and communication plan for the event were reviewed and finalized.

According to the recently issued decision on health insurance coverage targets for the period 2026-2030, the percentage of people participating will gradually increase each year. From 95.98% in 2026, this figure is expected to reach 100% by 2030. Even in the pivotal year of 2026, many provinces and cities have already received high targets, notably Hanoi (96.25%), Ho Chi Minh City (96%), and mountainous regions like Cao Bang (99.36%).

The "Flowers Offered to Uncle Ho" program will be held at 8:00 AM on July 10, 2026, at La Thanh Guest House (226 Van Phuc Street, Ngoc Ha Ward, Hanoi). This is the first program organized by the Central Association for the Protection of Disabled People of Vietnam, carrying significant meaning for the community. As part of the "Flowers Offered to Uncle Ho" program, a series of activities will take place on July 8th and 9th, 2026.

To commend and honor exemplary orphaned and abandoned children who have shown willpower and determination to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies, training, and lives; and to acknowledge and express gratitude to organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to the care of orphaned and abandoned children, the Vietnam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities is organizing the First "Flowers Offered to Uncle Ho" Program - 2026, in Hanoi.
