Ministry of Health issues warning: Food poisoning has not decreased
On September 22, the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) issued a document requesting the Health Departments of provinces and cities to strengthen food safety work. This move was made after recording many cases of food poisoning in collective kitchens in industrial zones and schools, although prevention work has achieved some results.

Accordingly, the Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health) directs the Departments of Health to:
-
Organize strict inspection and supervision: Focus on compliance with food safety regulations, strictly control raw materials and additives in collective kitchens, food service establishments, street food and food around schools. In particular, pay attention to mobile cooking services, parties, weddings, and crowded funerals.
-
Handling violations and publicizing information: Strictly handle violations and publicize results to warn the community.
-
Strengthen propaganda: Widely disseminate legal regulations on food safety, poisoning risks and prevention methods.
-
Incident handling: When poisoning occurs, it is necessary to quickly provide first aid and treatment to the patient. At the same time, suspend the operation of the facility causing the poisoning, investigate the cause, take food samples and trace the origin to clearly determine responsibility.
To make this work effective, the Food Safety Department also calls for the participation of all levels of government, unions and socio-political organizations./.
