13th Party Central Committee convenes 15th meeting

On February 28th, news of severe damage to educational and sports facilities in southern Iran from airstrikes caused a major shock. In the city of Minab, the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls' elementary school suffered extensive damage during morning classes. A school staff member tearfully recounted the chaotic scene as students aged 7 to 12 faced danger in their classrooms, which are supposed to be the safest spaces.

Chairing and delivering the opening remarks, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man noted that there are only 13 days left before voters head to the polls for the election of deputies to the 16th NA and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term, scheduled for March 15.

In the letter, on behalf of the Ministry of Health leadership, the Minister extended warm greetings, deep gratitude, and best wishes to all doctors and medical staff on Vietnamese Doctors' Day, February 27th. The letter acknowledges the persistent, silent, yet immense contributions of generations of medical professionals over the past seven decades.

The trip is an occasion for the two Parties and countries to continue affirming their great special solidarity, faithful attachment, and unwavering bond — a relationship that has been tested and continuously nurtured throughout history.

A notable highlight of this year’s event is the strong participation of young people in craft demonstrations and in sharing stories of heritage preservation.

The museum is envisioned not only as a repository preserving invaluable historical documents and artefacts of the Party, but also as a vivid and authentic reflection of the Party’s revolutionary journey. It will serve as a “red address” for revolutionary tradition education, helping to nurture faith and ideals among cadres, Party members and the public, especially the younger generation, while introducing international friends to the Party’s role and contributions to national liberation movements worldwide.

Under the leadership of the Party, the entire army and people have continued to uphold the revolutionary spirit and patriotic tradition, and joined hands to overcome countless challenges to achieve remarkable accomplishments.

On January 28, the Department of Disease Prevention (Ministry of Health) sent an urgent document to the Departments of Health of 31 provinces and cities; 5 International Health Quarantine Centers in Hai Phong, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, and Khanh Hoa; and 26 local Centers for Disease Control (CDC), requesting increased surveillance and prevention of diseases caused by the Nipah virus.

On the evening of January 26, 2026, in Hanoi, the Children's Health Magazine organized the first "Nurturing Compassion" program - 2025, aiming to honor groups, individuals, and businesses with a compassionate heart and spread the message of working together to care for and protect vulnerable children.

With more than 40,000 Vietnamese nationals living and working in the country, teaching Vietnamese to younger generations is essential to maintaining links with their national roots.
