3,000 Tet gifts given to orphans and disabled children

The “Giving Spring Love 2025” program gave 3,000 Tet gifts to poor, orphaned, disabled children and children in difficult circumstances in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.

The program was held by the Vietnam Youth Entrepreneurs Central Association and the Vietnam Young Travel Entrepreneurs Club from January 15 to 20.

The program aims to bring a warm and loving Tet holiday to children in difficult circumstances. Its total cost is about 2 billion VND with each gift worth 650,000 VND.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tan, Chairman of the Vietnam Young Travel Entrepreneurs Club, said that this year’s program has many meaningful and practical activities such as visit the Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Site, visit to historical sites, useful experience with recreational activities at Dat Thep Farm Tourist Area.

At these places, children can experience and participate in folk games, activities related to nature and the environment to help them better understand the traditional cultural values, the country's history and understand more about the traditional Tet of Vietnamese people.

According to Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, the activities to care for disadvantaged students in society have been joined by units since the COVID-19 pandemic appeared. 
In the coming time, children in difficult circumstances continue to receive more care from sponsors and young businesses nationwide. On the other hand, annual programs will be innovated with many activities to increase experiences for children./.

On September 16, 2024, in My Duc district, Hanoi, the Compassion & Life Magazine (under the Vietnam Relief Association for Disabled Children) collaborated with the Trade Union of the Central Propaganda Department, the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper, and the People's Committee, the Women's Union of My Duc district, Hanoi, to organize the program "Sharing Love - A Warm Mid-Autumn Festival" for 300 children with disabilities and those in difficult circumstances in the district.
