The event recognized institutions, organizations, teachers and staff in schools, centers and the community for their exceptional achievements in this humanitarian field.

Attendees included Chairman of the Vietnam Relief Association for Handicapped Children Ngo Sach Thuc, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education Nguyen Hong Son, People’s Artist and Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation Tong Toan Thang, Deputy Head of Hanoi Party Committee Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyen Kim Lan, as well as representatives from sponsors who have contributed significantly to relief efforts for disabled children in Hanoi in 2024.
The Hanoi Relief Association for Handicapped Children honored exemplary institutions such as Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School, Binh Minh High School, Soc Son School for Disabled Children, Binh Minh Special School, Thanh Tri School for Disabled Children, Hy Vong School, Hanoi School for the Deaf, Hy Vong Center, Phuc Tue Center, Phuong Liet Center, Thanh Xuan Peace Village, Hanoi Rehabilitation Hospital, Hanoi Vocational Cooking and Tourism School, and X19 Garment Joint Stock Company.
The association expressed deep gratitude to individuals and organizations, including the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, the Vietnam Education Promotion Fund, Australia's Blue Dragon Organization, Orion Vina Foods Co., Ltd., Nhat Tam Charity Club, Nano Milk Co. and others for their efforts and material contributions in supporting disabled children in difficult circumstances across Hanoi.
Among the 42 exemplary individuals recognized at the conference were teachers like Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, Principal of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School; Trinh Thi Le Thu, Vice Principal of Binh Minh High School; Hoang Thi Xuan of Binh Minh Special School, and Trinh Thi Lien of Xa Dan Secondary School. These educators have demonstrated dedication and love in teaching and caring for disabled children, providing them with both academic knowledge and life skills to prepare them for the future. Notably, teacher Nguyen Thi Coi, at 83 years old, has been tirelessly teaching disabled children at Tan Mai Ward's Charity Class for 26 years since her retirement.
"I highly appreciate the in-depth activities of the association, especially in connecting passionate and knowledgeable individuals, as well as organizations and various levels of society, to help disabled children and their families through care, therapy, rehabilitation, literacy education, vocational training and special education. Many public and private institutions in Hanoi have become trusted addresses for disabled children to study, learn a trade and receive intervention," said Ngo Sach Thuc, Chairman of the Vietnam Relief Association for Handicapped Children. He also commended the outstanding achievements of individuals, units and organizations in the care, education and relief efforts for disabled children.
"The Hanoi Relief Association for Handicapped Children expresses its heartfelt thanks to the units and individuals who have, for many years, overcome numerous difficulties and challenges to excel in the care and education of disabled children, helping them become useful members of their families and society, particularly children with difficult circumstances in Hanoi," said Nguyen Kim Hoang, Chairman of the Hanoi Relief Association for Handicapped Children, acknowledging the efforts of those involved in caring for and educating disabled children and the contributions of individuals and organizations to the relief work in Hanoi./.
