The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hanoi Party Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan and Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son.

The hospital was built in Yen Nghia Ward, Ha Dong District with a total investment of 654 billion VND from the city budget.

The Hanoi Children’s Hospital is the capital city’s first pediatric hospital with 24 specialized departments.

The project's first stage includes a six-storey building with two main areas: one for medical check-ups and one for inpatient treatment with 200 beds.

The inauguration of the Hanoi Children’s Hospital demonstrates the efforts of Hanoi’s entire political system in carrying out a programme to enhance social welfare and quality of life for city residents during the 2021-2025 period.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee signed a decision to award three collectives and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the project building the Hanoi Children's Hospital.

At the ceremony, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai presented gifts to disadvantaged children being treated at Hanoi Children's Hospital./.
