On October 25, in Hanoi, the U.N. Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) Vietnam organized the Orange Team 2024 event.

This is a new step in the journey to spread the message "Say no to violence against women and children" more widely to the community. The Orange Team 2024 emphasizes the theme "Sharing together, eliminating violence against women and children" to a diverse group of guests who are influential to the community such as directors, writers, beauty queens, runners-up, supermodels, singers, actors, fashion designers, artists, Tiktokers, MCs, Lifestyle KOLs....

The joint efforts of artists and KOLs promise to have many more extended arms to spread the message "Say no to violence against women and children," thereby aiming to change individual behavior to prevent violence against women and children, in every family, school, workplace, public place and even online environment.

Stressing that violence against women and children is unacceptable and preventable, Ms. Caroline Nyamayemombe, UN Women Representative in Viet Nam said: “The involvement of celebrities is very important because they have a great influence on the community, especially the youth. They can set an example, become positive role models for their fans in changing gender norms and stereotypes, and at the same time spread positive messages about sharing, equality and respect.”

Other guests attending The Orange Team 2024 such as: Singer Doan Trang; Makeup artist Dinh Nam Trung; Actor Binh An; Catwalk director, model Truong Thuy Thanh Truc; Actress Quach Thu Phuong, Runner-up Phuong Nga, singer My Dung, 1st Runner-up Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 Luong Thi Hoa Dan, Supermodel-MC Manh Khang... also shared and committed to spreading messages about eliminating violence against women and children.
