(SKTE) - On the morning of January 13, 2025, Children's Health Magazine (suckhoetreem.vn) held a conference to summarize the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025. Attending the conference were Ms. Do Thi Hue - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, Mr. Dao Vu Thiet - Deputy Secretary General, Head of the Organizing and Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Lang - Head of the Propaganda Committee of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children; Ms. Mai Thi Hanh - Chief of Office of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children.

On behalf of the Editorial Board, Dr. Nguyen Van Minh - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Children's Health Magazine presented a report summarizing the work in 2024 and the direction and tasks for 2025". Accordingly, in 2024, Children's Health Magazine has gradually affirmed its position and prestige, worthy of being the mouthpiece of the Central Association for the Relief of Disabled Children in Vietnam. In particular, with a new brand from October 2024, Children's Health Magazine has opened a new page in information and propaganda activities in the field of child care of the country's revolutionary press system.

Children's Health Magazine publishes a special (print) issue to welcome the Year of the Snake 2025.

The important milestone and breakthrough is that for the first time in the past 21 years, on October 21, in Hanoi, the Magazine held a launching ceremony for the new Children's Health Magazine, 2 publications: Printed Magazine and Electronic Magazine with 2 publications: Printed Magazine and Electronic Magazine, including Vietnamese and English versions.

Ms. Do Thi Hue - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, shared her congratulations to the Magazine.

Immediately after launching the new edition, Children's Health Magazine has clearly demonstrated its determination, innovation, and comprehensive improvement of the quality of both publications. Closely following the content of information and propaganda according to the objectives, purposes, and assigned tasks. In particular, focusing on propaganda about the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; Information about the activities of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children. Periodically publishing printed magazines with in-depth content, beautiful forms, gradually creating a widespread influence,... attracting the attention of many readers.

For the electronic magazine, in Vietnamese and English, news articles are updated regularly. Information on child health care activities of sectors, levels, associations and organizations is updated daily. In particular, in-depth, specialized information on children, care, education, protection of children's rights, scientific research results, exchange of experiences in child care, mobilization, gathering, receiving help, material and spiritual contributions for children in special circumstances, disabled children are focused on and updated regularly. Therefore, on average, there are from 20,000 to 25,000 visits to the electronic magazine suckhoetrem.vn every day. With that result, the Children's Health Magazine has gradually affirmed its brand, worthy of being the mouthpiece of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children.

On the other hand, the Magazine has continuously organized charity events to attract social resources to contribute to supporting and caring for children in special circumstances. Typical examples are events with great influence and humanitarian significance such as: The Love Giving Program - Warm Mid-Autumn Festival, September 2024, in My Duc District, Hanoi City; Love Spring Program 2025... Accordingly, in 2024, Children's Health Magazine mobilized over 3 billion VND from organizations and individuals participating in supporting children with disabilities such as: Bim Group Corporation; BT Vietnam Joint Stock Company; Vitus System Digital Technology Joint Stock Company; Flamingo Group; Danko Group; Phu Dien Construction Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company; Cedrus Media Trading and Communication Solutions Company Limited; Green Vietnam Company; Hong Ngoc PTM General Hospital...; and many philanthropists such as: Businessman Nguyen Dinh Chien (Tu Ky - Hai Duong); Ms. Hoang Minh Do; Ms. Dinh Thi Luong (Luc Nam - Bac Giang); Ms. Tran Bich Huong (No. 1 Hang Dao)... The above amount of money was given to disabled children and children in special circumstances on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival and Tet At Ty in 2025.

In his concluding remarks at the conference,  Dr. Tran Doan Tien - Editor-in-Chief of Children's Health Magazine emphasized: The conference "Summary of work in 2024 and deployment of tasks in 2025" is an opportunity for the staff, reporters, editors, and collaborators of Children's Health Magazine to look back at what has been done and what has not been done. At the same time, let's discuss frankly about the limitations and show sharing and openness to find solutions and ways to innovate and improve the overall quality of publications to develop Children's Health Magazine in 2025. Of course, we can also be proud, because looking back at 2024, although there are still difficulties, with the birth of Children's Health Magazine (October 2024), along with the efforts of each staff and reporter, we have really made an initial mark and spread the message "Children's Health Magazine - For children's smiles", conveying humane values, humanitarian activities, contributing to the care and support of children - people with disabilities, the disadvantaged, creating value for society and the community.

At the summary conference, Dr. Tran Doan Tien, Editor-in-Chief, presented the decision to appoint Deputy Director of the Media Center to Journalist Duy Manh 

It is very valuable that with the direction and attention of the Association's leaders, the Editorial Board, and the efforts and determination of the staff, journalists - reporters, and contributors of the magazine, it is hoped and desired that in 2025, the staff, reporters, editors, and contributors will continue to strive and promote programs and information with humanitarian values, to continue to spread to the community, as well as to further develop the magazine.

Emphasizing the development direction in 2025, Dr. Tran Doan Tien also frankly requested the staff, reporters, and collaborators of Children's Health Magazine to continue to improve their quality, professional qualifications, and new journalism skills to keep up with press agencies and go the long way in the future. To do so, each reporter and editor must be involved in reality, must think of topics to ask experts and scientists to write articles with in-depth research and monographs on children, health care, education, medicine, and child rights protection... In particular, it is necessary to take shortcuts, take the lead, and enlist the help of partners, especially Tri Nam Group, Viettel, VNPT... in digital transformation of journalism, applying AI and modern, multi-platform, mobile journalism, data journalism... to attractively convey digital information to the public and readers nationwide.

In the atmosphere of welcoming the Spring of At Ty 2025, on behalf of the leaders of the Magazine, Editor-in-Chief Tran Doan Tien expressed his respect and gratitude to the leaders of the Association, departments, ministries, branches, provinces, cities, organizations, partners, benefactors, collaborators nationwide, and readers near and far, who have accompanied and cooperated with the Magazine in the past time.
