The solar power system is worth more than 200 million VND with a capacity of 20 KW/h. It is expected to provide about 120-140 KW of electricity per day, helping Birla Children's Village save costs, which will spend on nutrition and learning materials for the children.

Ms. Trinh Thanh Huyen - Director of Birla Children's Village in Hanoi said that every month, each child is supported 2 million VND for food and 350,000 VND for living expenses by the State. This expenditure is still low compared to actual demands; moreover, the increase in electricity and water prices in recent times has significantly affected the care of the children. Therefore, the support and attention of the leaders of the city, district and businesses will help Birla Children's Village have better conditions to care for the children.

The gift shows the affection of the officials, people of Cau Giay district and businesses in the district for children in difficult circumstances living and studying at Birla Children's Village on the occasion of Lunar New Year Festival (Tet)./.
